Introduction Here is some further information about my past and present activities. 


Education

 

I have a MSc degree from University of Helsinki (Theoretical Physics) and a Ph.D. from Tilburg University (Economics and Business Administration). 


Former activities Here is a list of my former activities: 
 
  • Strategic Planning, (up to early 2000) comprising resources analysis & forecasting (i.e., human and materials), scenario building, model construction, simulation and statistical analysis 
  • Contributing to the identification of new technological opportunities for industrial collaborators, analysis of partner core capabilities and skills mapping 
  • Secretary of the "Divisional Webmasters Group"
  • Miscellaneous tasks such as implementing internal invoicing, Divisional Webmaster, Divisional coordinator of the "Millennium Bug" etc.
  • Member of the DELPHI-HCAL team (up to early 90's) 
  • Board Member of Cerntech Ltd (today part of Finpro) (early 90's) 
  • Technology manager at SEFT, comprising technology transfer and innovation management activities (identifying and setting up spin-off projects and new start-up companies) in the 'LEP-Unit' at the Otaniemi Science Park (up to 1990)
  • Part-time jobs in food production plant (LSO), in computing and foreign-exchange dealer activities (former KOP, lately Nordea Bank) etc.  (up to early 80's)
Among others, my former activities also included: 
Present activities At present, my main activities as the Resources Co-ordinator in the ATLAS-Project at CERN are as follows: 
  • Financial and organizational management of ATLAS; Budget planning & cost reporting; Monitoring of the sub-system execution as defined in the Memorandum of Understanding; Budget planning and resources allocations for the CERN ATLAS Team
